Documentary family photography is totally different than other sorts of photo sessions you may have had before.
Expect less stress - this is more like having a friend over visiting. (The kind of friend you can relax and be yourselves around).
You won't be directed or posed at all.
I simply let you go about your usual routines, while I capture authentic photographs that I know you'll treasure.
If you've ever wondered how to bottle up parenthood - this is how!
Step 1. THE BOOKING
First, book your day. Choose to take a day off of work, treat it like a mini vacation. All you need to be is yourselves!
Step 2. THE SESSION
On the day of the session, I will come to your house to spend time with your family. Don’t worry about things being perfect. I'll be a temporary member of the family. I'll join you for meals, and simply blend in, camera in hand all the while, capturing your family's story. It won't take long for you to forget that it's a photo session.
Step 3. THE PREMIERE
Approximately 4-6 weeks after the session, we’ll have your cinematic Reveal & Order session, which takes place at my house.
Bring your tissues! This is where you’ll be able to see the best of the best and choose and pay for exactly what you want.
I will be right there to guide you through this process.
Step 4. THE DELIVERY
I’ll call and notify you that your art is ready. You can choose to come pick it up or have it delivered to your home.
The creative session fee secures your documentary session date in my calendar and includes a short slideshow of artist-selected images to share online. Digital and printed products are selected and ordered at the Reveal & Order Session, which will take place in my home approximately 4-6 weeks after your session. You will have my personal guidance in creating the art that is right for you and your family.
