Documentary family photography is not about how you looked, but rather, how you LIVED.
Parenthood is an incredibly fast-paced series of managing different childhood ages and stages. Your life today is in a completely different stage than it was just a year ago.
Do you have a documentary from last year to remind you what life was like then?
Will you remember the little things?
A documentary photo session basically feels like having a friend tag along while you go about your day. You will not be interrupted or asked to ‘say cheese’. I work hard to anticipate moments and get into position to carefully compose each image. It’s kind of like having a photojournalist ‘covering’ your story.
Your job is simply to live as you normally do and trust that I know how to capture it all in a story that you will not be able to stop looking at.
Documentary family photography is an unapologetic visual diary of your life that will remind you and your kids what life FELT like.
Find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Your life is art.
