Have you got your Covid-Bubble yet? Our bubble naturally formed with our closest neighbours.
Between our 3 families, our kids play together ALL THE TIME.
Our family's usually gone half the summer because we're from Ontario and we've made a bit of a tradition of going home every July or August.
But, since the global pandemic is keeping us from our usual Ontario vacation, we needed to choose a destination closer to home.
So, rather spontaneously, we booked a trip to Invermere, BC with our bubble-neighbours!
The following images are from our first day at Kinsmen Beach, on Lake Windermere in Invermere. It's a gorgeous popular beach right in town that even has two floating docks with slides. The beach itself is a little rocky, but as long as you've got flip flops, you're alright.
Between us, we had only two floaties (a MUST HAVE at this beach, so younger kids can easily get out to the floating docks).
-- Both floaties, sadly, did not survive the day. :( :( :( --
This particular day was just us Moms (Dads were off golfing) with all the kids. It was super fun and everyone had a blast!
The weather was hot, the water refreshing and it left us all wondering why we don't do this every year?
Have you been to Invermere lately? I already can't wait to go back!
