Family Photojournalism - Alison Lapczuk Photography

Alison Lapczuk Photography

Family Photojournalism values authenticity over perfection.  This session should be an experience - a treasured day.  Your very own FAMILY DAY, where electronic devices are set aside and togetherness is brought to the fore.  I will carefully compose your story into photographs that will have the power to bring you back to this time in your life..

"Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." -Elliott Erwitt

Think about looking through old family photographs.  What images grab you?  I'm willing to bet that what stops us in our tracks are the images that are a window into our life as it really was.  Images like this bring back real memories that make us scan every corner of the frame for more clues about our past.

A documentary session is very casual and relaxed.  Dads, especially, can breathe a sigh of relief to know that outfits and props will not be involved.  Smiles will not be forced.  Nobody's posing.  You simply get to enjoy being a family: kids can wrestle with Dad, make cookies with Mom, splash in the tub with siblings.  You can think of me as a visiting auntie or whatever and you can just be yourselves.

Do you want to learn more?  Find out how I can document your life and transform it into photographic art.  Reach me at 403-464-6333 or alison@alisonlapczuk.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!
